Yesterday's win by the Indians wasn't much of a surprise as the Red Sox struggle against teams with winning records and they are still facing one here and with Justin Masterson geting the ball for the Indians just not sure how Cleveland isn't favored here over the Red Sox who send Lackey to the hill.
Mitch's Pick: Cleveland Indians
Chicago Cubs vs. Cincinnati Reds (MLB) - 7:10 PM EDT

We have two pitchers who haven't given up much here as Feldman has easily been the ace of the staf for the Cubs while Arroyo just hasn't made a lot of mistakes. The number here seems to be on the high side and look for it to come in under.
Mitch's Pick: Under 8
Atlanta Braves vs. New York Mets (MLB) - 7:10 PM EDT

The Braves are a big favorite here and for good reason, the Mets can't hit their way out of a paper bag. Kris Medlen doesn't have the stellar record of a year ago but Hefner can't buy a win and look for the Braves to show the Mets what a first place team looks like.
Mitch's Pick: Atlanta Braves
Oakland Athletics vs. Houston Astros (MLB) - 8:10 PM EDT

The Oakland A's are making their move and the Astros are jsut a doormat. How a pitcher like Bedard can't win games is beyond me but he can't and no use thinking he does here.
Mitch's Pick: Oakland A's
Texas Rangers vs. Seattle Mariners (MLB) - 10:10 PM EDT

We lost fading Joe Blanton yesterday but at least we still have Joe Saunders to kick around and with the Mariners playing terrible baseball of late and the Rangers leading the West with the A's starting to breath down their neck. Look for the beat down here.
Mitch's Pick: Texas Rangers
St Louis Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (MLB) - 10:10 PM EDT

Play: Money Line: -117 St Louis Cardinals Play Title: Mitch's Hot Hand Pick
Win

The St. Louis Cardinals are Red Hot but they aren't extending their lead in the NL Central, if anything it is slowly shrinking. THe Dodgers are playing better baseball right of late but it has mainly been with the top of their rotation and against the weaker teams. Lynn gets all kinds of support.
Mitch's Pick: St. Louis Cardinals
Indiana Pacers vs. Miami Heat (NBA) - 8:30 PM EDT

Play: Point Spread: 7.5/-108 Indiana Pacers Play Title: Mitch's Heat-Pacers Pick
Win

This series is just all about match ups and while the Heat got off the hook for the outright win in game won, they didn't come close to covering and while the Heat have played better in each series as they have went on, the Pacers seem to just have the match ups.
Mitch's Pick: Indiana Pacers
