Jake Odorizzi was strong in his second start coming off the IL. He was able to shut down Oakland on July 10, holding them scoreless in a 6-1 Houston win. Lefty Cole Irvin pitched in that game and gave up two runs in six innings. He also allowed one run on June 1 against Houston in 5.2 innings. The Astros won’t have Yordan Alvarez and Michael Brantley. Jose Altuve (knee) might not play as well, so that’s a big chunk of the lineup.
