Baltimore has won the first two games of the series in low-scoring affairs, winning 2-0 Friday and 3-1 Saturday. Their magic runs out here as Baltimore runs into the presumptive AL Cy Young winner in this one. Justin Verlander has been lights out all season long, posting a 16-3 mark on year with a sub-two ERA and he's averaging a strikeout per inning. Baltimore is sending Austin Voth to the mound and let's face it, he doesn't match up with what Verlander brings to the table. You can't shut the Astros down forever, especially at home. That proves to be the difference here as Houston's bats get going and Verlander handcuffs the Baltimore lineup to earn the win and salvage the finale of the series.
