I contemplated going with the run line for this contest but we've seen the Rays win each of the two games in this series in walk-off fashion, one of which went to extra innings. That leaves me to sticking with the moneyline, even though it is a prohibitive number. We've seen the Pirates continue their struggles against left-handed pitching and facing McClanahan is about as challenging as it can get for the Bucs in this one. Sure, McClanahan has seen the team drop his last two starts after winning his previous seven outings but both of those came against the powerhouse Yankees in low-scoring contests. Contreras has yet to go more than 5.2 innings in a start this season and Pittsburgh's bullpen has faltered in this series. McClanahan could easily record double-digit punchouts and it helps carry Tampa Bay to victory.
