Toronto Blue Jays -145
(MLB) Toronto vs. Milwaukee,
Money Line: -145.00 Toronto (Away)
Result: Loss
I haven't been able to get away from this series this weekend, hitting best bets in each of the first two games of the set. I have to go back to it, though not as the best bet, as Chi Chi Gonzalez is a guy that you can't really have faith in on the mound. He was DFA'd by a pitching-starved Minnesota team and owns a career 5.71 ERA to go with a 9-24 record. Gonzalez didn't set a high threshold in his Brewers debut, allowing three runs on four hits with a walk and two strikeouts in four innings. Toronto nearly rallied to win Saturday and had the go-ahead run at the plate in the ninth against Josh Hader before falling. There's a massive drop in talent between Corbin Burnes, Devin Williams and Hader to Gonzalez. Jose Berrios was roughed up by the White Sox in his last start but he had gone at least seven frames in each of his previous three outings. The Blue Jays should take advantage of Gonzalez and put this one in the win column on getaway day.
