Well, I went with the Rangers on Monday night and, after a slow start by Martin Perez, he regrouped while the Rangers' bats delivered enough offense to put that one in the win column by a 10-4 count. As much as I like to rip on Jon Gray on our show Just Parlays, the fact remains that he's been better of late. He's allowed two runs or less in each of his last three starts and in four of his last five outings entering this game, including a win over the Philliesin his last start. The Royals traded Carlos Santana Monday and while Vinnie Pasquatino being called up is manna from heaven for Royals fans, their pitching is still atrocious. Heasley started strong in his last outing but ended up with a no-decision as he gave up four runs in five innings. The Royals have sputtered offensively and on the mound. Look for another solid outing for Gray as the Rangers earn the win again here.
