New York bounced back from a loss in their regular season opener by thrashing Indiana by 25 at home Friday night at Madison Square Garden. They have had two days off to prepare for the Cavaliers, who are unbeaten but are playing their third game in four nights here. While they are 3-0, they've beaten the Raptors, Pistons and Cavaliers, hardly teams that one would confuse with the upper echelon of the Eastern Conference. With the Knicks at home and holding a little extra rest, look for them to serve notice that they are going to be a contender.
