Both these teams won ugly games last week with Louisiana Tech scratching out a 14-10 home win over UTEP while Sam Houston State survived a 10-7 win on the road over FIU. The Bearkats are expected to get dual threat quarterback Hunter Watson back this week, which should make for better production than we saw from Jase Bauer. Both defenses are stout and their respective strengths match up well with the opposing offense. After seeing how things went last week, don't expect a ton of offensive firepower here. Lean toward the under in this contest as a result.
