Now, I know we backed Memphis on Wednesday night and they played with their food, blowing an 18-point third quarter lead before rallying to win 115-112 in overtime against the Knicks and failing to cover the five-point line. This is the Rockets, however, a team full of young pieces that don't really have a cohesive rotation or a solid veteran leader to keep things together. Sure, Houston is going to be entertaining to watch as they run up and down the floor. Facing a Grizzlies team that loves to play that style is going to give the Rockets an opportunity to play at the blitzkrieg tempo their young guys like but Memphis has better talent and chemistry in their rotation. Take the Grizzlies as they improve to 2-0 by winning this one comfortably.
