The Mariners managed to overcome some miscues in the opener to rally for the win and snap a slide. In this contest though, the pitching matchup is less than favorable for the Mariners. Brown has pitched well in his two outings this season, allowing two runs over six innings in each contest. Meanwhile, Castillo, not to be confused with the Luis Castillo that took the hill in the middle game of the set Tuesday night, is uninspiring and has limited big league experience. He didn’t do anything to impress in his season debut against the Giants on the road so it’s tough to have faith in him here. Look for Brown to handcuff a whiff-happy Seattle lineup and help the Astros earn a win here.
