This series between the top two teams in the NL West rages on in the City of Angels. While Yu Darvish has been solid for the Padres this season, the fact remains that his home/road splits are rather pronounced. Darvish has gone 3-2 on the road this season but has a 4.93 ERA, a 1.26 WHIP, 10 walks and 30 strikeouts over 42 innings of work. Comparatively, he is 4-1 with a 1.75 ERA, a 0.73 WHIP, eight walks and 45 strikeouts over 46.1 innings this season at Petco Park. That's the problem for the Padres here as this game is at Dodger Stadium. Tyler Anderson took his first loss of the season in his last start Monday against Colorado at Coors Field. While he wasn't great, allowing four runs on 10 hits with a walk and two strikeouts over six innings, the Dodgers failed to put any runs on the scoreboard in the loss. Anderson should be better here and with Darvish's road issues, they should generate enough offense to come up with the home victory here.
