The 2-4 Tigers are going to pull off the minor upset on the road today against the 2-3 Royals because I feel they have the superior starting pitcher on the hill for them to get things going. Casey Mize gets the ball for the visitors. He gave up 4 runs over 5 innings in his debut start, but last year he posted a solid 3.71 ERA over 30 starts. I say he gets the better of KC's Zack Greinke, who looked great in his opening start and enters 0-0 with a 1.59 ERA. He has great career numbers against the Tigers, but I think the fact that he didn't start yesterday because of the rainout, will throw a monkey wrench into the veterans rythym. The Royals have lost 3 straight and I say they fall again here. I look for Mize to match Greinke inninig for inning, then I look for the Tigers to take advantage of a Royals' bullpen that sports a combined 7.00 ERA so far.
