This is a 10* TOP TOTAL on the UNDER Isles/Lightning.

I had a play on the Lightning in Game 1. Did I expect them to win by a score of 8-2? I expect a comfortably victory, but not many would have predited such a lop-sided outcome, especially because the Islanders have some of the best goaltending in the league and are equally stingy defensively overall.

Tampa is without question talented offensively, but I think the Isles collapse and the Bolts explosion in Game 1 is an "outlier" effort (both good and bad) for each side.

I think a much more typical contest is going to happen in Game 2. It's going to be MUCH tighter obviously, as New York looks to get back to basics and doing what it does best.

Note as well that New York has seen the total dip below the posted number in eight of its last 11 after allowing seven or more goals in a loss in its previous outing.

I expect these world class goaltenders to be the main story lines in tomorrow's summaries.
