This is an 8* play on the OVER Tigers/Rays.

Both teams have been playing to several lower-scoring games of late, including in the Tigers 3-2 win in yesterday's series opener, but I expect a few more runs to finally be plated on Tuesday night.

The Tigers have seen the total go OVER in seven of their last 11 after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row, while Tampa has seen the total fly OVER in six of its last eight in trying to revenge a home loss against an opponent in which it was held to two runs or fewer in.

Beau Brieskee (0-2, 3.86 ERA), has been decent for the Tigers, but regression seems imminent here vs. this revenge-minded Rays side.

Tampa counters with Shane McClanahan (2-2, 2.52), who has been "lights out" of late, but who I believe is also due for some regression here after posting such "sparkly" numbers in May (1-0, 1.46 ERA over 12 1/3's innings.)

This number is now finally just a bit TOO low. The play is the OVER.
