EARLY EAGELS/LIONS ATS BLOWOUT (9-1 RUN!)
(NFL) Philadelphia vs. Detroit,
Point Spread: 4.00 | -110.00 Detroit (Home)
Result: Win
Point Spread: 4.00 | -110.00 Detroit (Home)
Result: Win
This is an 8* ATS BLOWOUT on the Lions.
There are many that are picking the Eagles as a "darkhorse" to do well in the NFC this season. They finished 9-8 last year. They have AJ Brown now and Philadelphia also beefed up its defense in the offseason.
The Lions are poised for major improvement as well after last year's poor 3-13 campaign. Jared Goff has some new weapons around him and head coach Dan Campbell has his team moving in the correct direction.
Detroit won its Week 2 preseason contest at Indianapolis by a score of 27-26. It lost its opener 27-23 to the Falcons and its third game at Pittsburgh by a score of 19-9.
Philly won its Week 2 preseason game as well by a score of 21-20 at Cleveland, but fell 24-21 to the Jets in Week 1 and 48-10 at the Dolphins in Week 3.
On paper, Philadelphia might be the better team. But the home field advantage can't be overlooked here. I say these teams are evenly matched, and I'm grabbing the points in a game that I see being decided by whichever side has its hands on the ball last.
Grab the points, the play is DETROIT.
Good luck, NP
