Both teams aren't great. Not making any excuses for the 1-5 New Mexico State Aggies, but we do think that Louisiana Tech is just getting way too much respect here by the oddsmakers on the road.
The Bulldogs are 2-3 overall. When these teams met last year, New Mexcio State won 27-24 at home.
Louisiana Tech is off the 48-21 win at home over MTSU, while New Mexico State is off the 54-13 blowout road loss at Jacksonville State.
So far Louisiana Tech averages 24.6 PPG, while allowing 21.6.
The Aggies will be desperate here to find some chemistry but will still be going with two QB's in Santina Marucci and Parker Awad. So far they're averaging 18.5 PPG, while allowing 38.2.
The Bulldogs' QB Evan Bullock has shown some promise, but we expect the desperate home side to keep it much more competitive than what Las Vegas is trying to lead us to believe.
