The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers with a 6-6 overall record and a 3-5 record in the Sun Belt. The UTSA Roadrunners also finished at 6-6 overall and were  4-4 in the American. They face off in the Myrtle Beach Bowl. The Chanticleers stumbled down the stretch, losing five of their last seven games. They snapped a two-game losing streak by beating Georgia State to end the season. Coastal Carolina puts up 29.8 points per game. On the defensive end, they are giving up 30.6 points per game.  Unlike Coastal Carolina, UTSA finished the season strong, going 4-2.

UTSA is putting up 32.3 points per game. On the defensive side, they are giving up 31.3 points per game.  The Roadrunners have won three of their last four games while the Chanticleers have lost three of their last five games. These teams are pretty even on both sides of the ball but UTSA has one of the best passing games in the country.  The Chanticleers have a far better-rushing attack than a passing attack and are facing a Roadrunners defense that has been great at defending the run.
