I’m on the Padres at home vs the Dodgers on game 3 for these reasons:

- I’m not trusting Walker Buehler at all here in a road spot vs a Padres team that bats well vs Right Handed Pitchers (#1 Batting Average vs RHP) and get struck out the least. Buehler also doesn’t have a good K rate, and will need on rely more on the fielding unit to eliminate base hits and bad pitches. Speaking of the fielding unit, Freeman got hurt last game and will likely be limited if not out for this game which hurts them at first baseman.

- Padres have the pitching advantage with Michael King who has a better ERA (2.95) and averages a strike per inning over 9 pitched. Dodgers struggle vs righties more than Lefties hitting only .253 vs them, and Michael King has diverse pitching arsenal that he also throws at 86 to 93 mph speed. He’s going to be able to throw off this dodgers lineup and keep his team unscathed through atleast his first 5 innings. In the last 12 innings he’s pitched vs the Dodgers, he’s only allowed one run, 5 hits, and struck out 14 bats.
