I’m on the Under of 7 runs in this MLB game 2 of the Yankees vs the Guardians for these reasons:

- Yankees have been lighting it up in this series, but Tanner Bibee should be able to halt some of that success tonight in a game they need to win before heading home avoiding being down 0-2. Guardians have the better bullpen and have been going deep into that bullpen as the playoffs began, so the best pitchers are rested going into this game. Yankees bat .253 this season vs righties and that’s modest when comparing most righties to Tanner. His K% and Breaking Run Value is enough to install confidence in him not giving up many runs at all through his 5-6 innings pitched. He may face some stress due to hits allowed, as he has averaged over 4 hits per outing this season, but the fastball is not one of the best pitches for the Yankees to hit against so I see him keeping the runs to a minimum.


- Guardians offense is not looking good after game one, and was honestly not well last series either. Gerrit Cole is on the mound for the Yankees and he’s bound to make a statement start again at home vs a team of righties, and righties have only batted .235 against Gerrit this season. His pitching arsenal is diverse and should continue the struggles for the Guardians. I see no big plays happening for either team here.
