I’m on the Tigers Moneyline on the road vs the Angels for these reasons:

- Tigers Casey Mize is on the mound and he’s been legit in his starts. 4-1, 2.12 ERA, and a 1.04 WHIP. He’s going up against an easy Angels roster that has the third worst Batting Average, and top 5 in most struck out batters. Only Tim Anderson is batting well against Mize on this roster (.231) and Trout will get his first crack at Mize in his career. There’s a lot of righties on this Angels team and that’s the only worry for me, but even with the contact made from hits if there is many, I have extreme faith in the fielding unit if the Angels to limit opportunities for this Angels offense.

- What’s as underwhelming as the angels bats? The Angels pitching. They don’t strike out bats and that’s going to be an issue if the Tigers get contact. Kikuchi is pitching for the Angels tonight. He’s yet to record a win in his 4 starts for the team and he’s averaging 4 earned runs per game.
