I’m on the Yankees RunLine at home in Game 1 vs the Boston Redsox for these reasons:

- Walkerv Beuhler is on the mound for the Redsox and though his stats look decent, his road splits are not, and vs a Yankees rotation that bats .250 against him, bats .257 at home this season, and .252 vs righties, it could be a grueling start tonight for Walker. Walker has a 6.00 era on the road, averages a hit per inning on the road, and is terrible vs lefties…. I’m not trusting the Redsox or their bullpen to keep things close tonight after Walker gives up runs.

- I’ll trust Will Warren here, coming off a bad start his last outing vs the Dodgers. He gave up the ghost in one inning, allowing 7 runs off 6 hits and walked a couple bats. Luckily for him, these Boston bats chase pitches and he should get more than 2 strikeouts this game. It’s his first meeting against them and his home splits show that he can be trusted to keep his team in position to score early in the game, with his . 3.10 ERA at home, and his 2-1 home record, I’ll have faith in him to limit damage, give his bats the chance to hurt Beuhler, and when he leaves the mound, I like the relief pitching available for this Yankees team.
