I’m taking the Under 9.5 and for the Diamondbacks to avoid the sweep today vs the Reds for these reasons:

- It’s a bounceback spot for the Diamondbacks bats who mustered only 1 run last night and got blown out by 12 runs (13-1). Zac Gallen is starting for the Diamondbacks and he’s got good enough road splits to trust in a series closer like this versus a reds team that has looked good but are actually mediocre at bat. 3.45 ERA on the road, 3-2 road record, and averaging a strikeout per road inning pitched is enough to get my money. It’s going to be tough once he leaves the mound, because the relief pitchers for Arizona are poor, but thankfully we get to see the Arizona bats vs Brady singer , who will no doubt give up runs early.

- Brady Singer for the reds has been serviceable, but he’s not elite and suspect against Left handed batters (which Arizona has a lot of). Diamondbacks are hitting .256 vs right handed pitchers, Brady singer is allowing .235 averages to lefties this season along with .439 slugging. If the diamondbacks can’t get runs off Brady Singer, then they have a really big issue that stems beyond this series.
