Dallas eliminated Minnesota in 6 games due to Minnesota not being able to get stops on the penalty kill as well as some incorrect calls from the referees in the series. The two refs that were responsible for the biggest wrong calls in the first round are not refereeing any games in the second round as the NHL has acknowledged that there were multiple wrong calls in Dallas’s favor.

Seattle did what very few people believed they could do and that is defeat the Colorado Avalanche. If you look back at my previous picks on the site you will see I backed this Kraken team a lot during the 1st round series especially on the road. Seattle has played top level hockey on the road for most the season and should not be +161 on the road in this series.
