Florida is averaging 3.06 goals per game this playoffs and Vegas is averaging 3.72. Both goaltenders have stood on their heads throughout this years playoffs at times but the big thing for me in this game is special teams Florida has a 71.20% penalty kill and Vegas has a 65.30% penalty kill. There was one powerplay and one shorthanded goal in game 1.

I stayed off the side/total in game 1 to see how the game played out as I was backing both of these teams heading into the finals. Vegas was clearly the better team in game 1 and I expect a better game from Florida in this game however Florida is 0-5-1 in Vegas having yet to win in T-Mobile Arena.

I don’t see a lot changing from game 1 of this series when it comes to the total but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 3-3 or 4-2 type of game in the late seconds of the 3rd period. I am taking the OVER 5.5 in this one.
