Arizona begins their season on the road facing the New Jersey Devils. Arizona added players in the offseason to improve their team including prized rookie Logan Cooley who is a big part of the Yotes future. Arizona now has a decent forward group but the defense is still the weak part of the team and the goaltending is up and down.

New Jersey is off a 4-3 win last night against Detroit where I had NJ -1.5 which lost with seconds to go. New Jersey did not play their best game but showed glimpses of that lethal offense they have.

This should be a close game and it wouldn’t shock me to see another 4-3 victory in this one. I lean with Arizona +1.5 but I am going to take the OVER 6.5 in this one as both teams strengths are their offense and not defense/goaltending.
