He has not been great in his recent appearances but he will likely pitch just a few innings in this game as the Rays have a very good bullpen to back him up here, especially if he gets into any trouble in this game. He will not have a bad outing with the way this Angels offense has been recently though and the Rays bullpen will shut down the Angels lineup as well. Tyler Anderson is starting for the Angels here and he is 5-4 with a 5.28 ERA this season. He has not been good this season and even allowed 7 earned runs in his last start. He has also allowed a lot more runs in his road starts which will get him into trouble here as the Rays still have one of the better offenses in the league and they have also been heating up by scoring more runs once again. The Rays are also trying to catch the Orioles in 1st place of the AL East right now so they will not hesitate to beat up on a struggling Angels team here at home. The Rays will win this game at home.
