The Dodgers are coming into this game playing very well recently as they have been on a surge winning 4 of their last 5 as well as 15 of their last 17 games. Their offense has also been on fire in these games as they have scored 15 runs in their last 2 games. They are going up against a Red Sox team that has been playing better recently and is coming off of a 17-1 win over the Astros in their last game, but they still split the series with them and have not been playing as good as the Dodgers have been over the last few weeks. Lance Lynn is starting for the Dodgers here and he is 9-9 with a 5.60 ERA this season. He was awful for the White Sox for most of the season but ever since coming to the Dodgers he has been great as he has allowed just 1 earned run or less in each of his last 3 starts. He is going to continue pitching well here now that he is finding success with the Dodgers and even if he does give up some runs here, he still has one of the best offenses in the league to back him up with runs here since they have been so hot recently. Kutter Crawford is starting for the Red Sox here and he is 6-6 with a 3.66 ERA this season. He has not been awful in his recent starts but he has actually been worse at home recently than in his road starts. He has allowed at least 2 earned runs in each of his last 5 home starts and has allowed at least 3 earned runs in 4 of those starts. He has not been awful at home but he still allows a good number of runs in his starts there which will get himself into trouble here against such a strong offense looking to get after him. The Dodgers will win this game and continue to roll here.
