The Commanders are coming into this game with high hopes to start their season as they are under new ownership and Ron Rivera will be hungry to get his team to the playoffs this season after just missing last year. They are going up against a Cardinals team that has done nothing but shed top talent to other teams over the years and now they are an organization in disarray with a constantly injured franchise QB and awful management. They have hired a new head coach for this season but this is his 1st time as a head coach and they have already been making some bold decisions like releasing long time backup QB Colt McCoy who has had succes there in recent starts. Now they have a new QB coming into this season and this Cardinals team really has no plan for the year. The Cardinals are going to be one of the worst teams in the NFL this season with a huge lack of talent on both offense and defense while Washington is a team with playoff hopes and are in good hands with a proven coach like Ron Rivera. The Commanders always have a good defense under Rivera and this will be a game where the Cardinals barely score on their defense while the Commanders offense takes care of the rest.
