Houston is coming into this game off of a road loss against Rice in their last game. Houston was awful to start that game as they were down 28-0 at one point but they rallied back to score 28 unanswered points and send the game to OT. They still lost the game by 2 points in the end but they played very well on offense to make that comeback and they already have a home win this season as they beat a good UTSA team in their 1st game of the season. Houston is going to be much better in this game at home now that their offense is starting to click and they definitely have something to prove here against another Texas team in this 1st conference game for them since joining the Big 12 this season. They are going up against a TCU team that was in the National Championship last season but they were embarrassed in that game and only had 3 returning starters on offense this year. They do not have a good team as their team is very different from last year and even though they beat up on Nicholls State in their last game at home, they still lost to Colorado at home in their 1st game of the season. Houston is starting to put things together now and they are a much better team at home with a point to prove in this game. Houston will cover the spread here.
