Auburn is coming into this game with a 2-1 record but now they are going to have their biggest test of the season so far. They played very well in their FCS matchup as well as their game against UMass as they scored over 45 points in both games and even though they only scored 14 points in their 1 road game against Cal, Cal does have a good defense and a good home advantage. Now Auburn is starting their conference schedule on the road but Texas A&M does not have a great defense and Hugh Freeze is going to find ways to get his offense to move the ball and score points in this game. This is also their 1st conference game of the season so they are not going to lay down and die here, especially if they are playing from behind as they will be forced to throw the ball more and will not have trouble against this Texas A&M secondary that was torched by Miami. They are going up against a Texas A&M team that does have a good offense though as they still scored 33 points on the road in their loss to Miami and have also scored over 47 points in their other 2 games which they won. They are also at home for this 1st conference game of the season and they will be hungry to make sure they do not have a repeat of the Miami game now that they are playing a much better team than the 2 wins they have. Texas A&M is going to score points against this Auburn defense that has not been that great in their games, allowing over 10 points in all 3 games against much weaker opponents, but Auburn is also going to score on this Texas A&M defense with that new look Hugh Freeze offense. Between these two teams, there will be enough points in this game to push it over the total.
