Ole Miss is coming into this game playing very well this season as they are 3-0 this year. They have played very well in their last 2 games as they beat GA Tech at home by 25 points and also won on the road prior to that, beating a good Tulane team by 17 points. Their offense has been very good in all of their games as they are scoring a lot of points and they have the much better offense coming into this game. They are going up against an Alabama team that played very well against Middle Tennessee State in their season opener, but they have been awful since then as they lost at home to Texas and barely beat South Florida on the road 17-3. They did not have Milroe as their starting QB in that game against USF and he will be the starter here as he ran this offense much better in his starts against MTSU and Texas, but even with Milroe back in the game it is not going to help this Alabama offense much. Alabama has a very good running game and a great running QB in Milroe but he is not much of a passer unless he is taking a shot down the field. He struggles to complete shorter passes though which is going to get him into trouble when trying to convert for 1st downs. Ole Miss does not have a great defense so Alabama will move the ball in this game, but they do not have the talent on offense to compete with Ole Miss and their offense. Ole Miss is going to score points on this defense just like Texas did and after seeing Sarkisian win with Texas in Tuscaloosa, Lane Kiffin has to be thinking this his year too and he will have his team ready to pull off an upset win here.
