The Saints are coming into this game at 2-0 this season and their defense has been playing very well in those. They have one of the best defenses in the NFL on paper but they have also been playing well in their first 2 games as they have not allowed more than 17 points in either game. Their defense suffocated the Panthers in their last game as they did not allow a touchdown until the final 2 mins of the game and even in their 1st game of the season against the Titans, they did not allow a TD at all as they held the Titans to 5 field goals. Their offense has been a big problem the last few years but they played a lot better in their last game against the Panthers on the road and they are only going to get better as Carr gets more comfortable playing in this offense. He has a lot of weapons to work with and he will find ways to move the ball and score points on this Packers defense. They are going up against a Packers team that is 1-1 and has not been bad in their first 2 games, but they also beat a Bears team that has a bottom 5 roster in the NFL as well as losing by 1 point on the road to a Falcons team that is in the bottom half of the NFL. Now they have their home opener here but they are playing against a much better team with a top defense in the NFL and an experienced QB who has many weapons on the offense to make the Packers pay. The Packers are also banged up with a lot of their key pieces on offense and they are going to struggle to even move the ball on this Saints defense. The Saints are going to cover the spread in this game and win straight up.
