The Panthers are coming into this game at 0-2 this season and they are going to be without their rookie QB Bryce Young who is dealing with an ankle injury. Andy Dalton will be getting the start in this game and as a veteran QB he will have a much better chance at leading this offense than what was seen in the first 2 games with their rookie QB. They are going up against a Seahawks team that is coming off of a big road win in Detroit which they won in OT. The Seahawks are going to have some confidence from that win coming back home now against a team like the Panthers who are one of the worst teams in the NFL this season. The Panthers defense has allowed at least 20 points in both of their games this season and they are facing a dangerous Seattle offense with a lot of weapons for Geno Smith to use. The Seahawks also have a bad defense though and the Panthers offense led by Dalton is going to score some points on them as they will be hungry for their 1st win of the season. The Seahawks defense has allowed at least 30 points in each of their games this season which is bottom 5 in the NFL and they have also allowed 844 yards against them which is 2nd worst in the NFL this season. This has been a recurring issue for Pete Carroll and his defense giving up a lot of points and yards at the start of the season over the last few years. The Panthers are going to find ways to score points on this bad defense with a veteran QB leading the way and the Seahawks offense also has too many weapons for the Panthers to handle. Between these two teams, there will be enough points in this game to push it over the total.
