Burnley is coming into this match playing in awful form this season but after losing their first 3 straight matches in the Premier League, they played a lot better in their last match. They are coming off of a 1-1 draw away from home against Nottingham Forest in their last match which was their 1st point of the season but now that they have the taste of a point, they are going to be hungry for more here. They played very well in that draw and were the better team for most of that match as they were even in position to win it. Now they are back at home for this match and against a much better team in Man Utd, but they are going up against a Man Utd side that has done nothing but struggle since the season started. Man Utd has only won 2 of their 5 EPl matches and 2 of their 6 matches played this year with both of those wins coming by 1 goal at home. They did not play well in those wins either and they have been in awful form recently as well as they have lost their last 3 straight as well as 4 of their last 5 matches. Their defense has also been a huge issue as they have allowed at least 2 goals in each of their last 5 straight and they have also allowed at least 3 goals in each of their last 3 matches. They have also lost all 3 of their away matches this year and they are coming off of a hard fought midweek match in Champions League which they had to travel to Germany for and lost to Bayern Munich 4-3. Burnley is going to have some confidence in this match at home now that they have finally put together a good performance in the league and they are going to find the net on this Man Utd defense that has been conceding a lot of goals this year.
