(NCAAF) Michigan vs. Minnesota,
Point Spread: -18.00 | -107.00 Michigan (Away)
Result: Win
Michigan is coming into this game with a 5-0 record overall and they finally showed up in a big way last week as they won their 1st road game of the season in a conference game and smashed Nebraska 45-7. Michigan has not been scoring a lot of points in their games this season but they have still scored over 30 points in all 5 games and they have also won all 5 of their games by 20 or more points. Their defense has also been very good as they have not allowed more than 7 points in a single game this season and they have the best defense in the country right now, averaging just 6 points allowed per game. They also average over 34 points scored per game and Minnesota has not been as good on defense this year as they average over 20 points allowed per game. They are going up against a Minnesota team that has also struggled on defense against better offenses as they allowed 24 points at home against Louisiana in their last game and allowed over 30 points in each of their games prior to that against UNC and Northwestern. Michigan has a much stronger offense that is going to control the clock here and they will have no problem trying to score points on this defense. Minnesota does not have a great offense either and they are going to struggle against one of the best defenses in the country as Michigan will do to them what they have been doing all season and not allow more than a touchdown here. Michigan will cover the spread in this game.
