The Warriors are coming into this game with a 2-1 record this season as they lost their home opener to the Suns but have won their last 2 straight games on the road. The Warriors were awful on the road last season and are off to a strong 2-0 start on the road this year, but they are still in a very tough spot here as they are playing the 2nd end of a B2B road spot here after winning in Houston on Sunday night. They are going up against a Pelicans team that is 2-0 this season and they have played very well in both of their games now that their starting lineup is fully healthy again. They have been missing some of their bench depth but it has not seemed to matter with these starters healthy as they have taken over both of the games they have played in. The Pelicans opened their season with a road win against the Grizzlies by 7 points and followed up with a home win by 9 points against the Knicks in their last game. The Pelicans have the home advantage once again here but they also have the rest advantage over Golden State as the Pelicans last played on Saturday and have not been traveling either. The Pelicans have a very good starting lineup with everyone healthy and they were already showing last season that they can be a threat in the Western Conference when everyone is playing. This is also an awful B2B road spot for the Warriors. The Pelicans will cover the spread in this game.
