Notre Dame is coming into this game with a 7-2 record this season but they have played much better in their last 2 games since losing to Louisville. Since that last loss, Notre Dame has beaten USC 48-20 and Pittsburgh 58-7. They are going up against a Clemson team that has not been good this season as they are only 4-4 overall and they have lost their last 2 straight games as well. They lost to Miami and NC State, both of those losses were on the road and they have been better at home this season but they also struggled to beat Wake Forest 17-12 in their last home game. Will Shipley also missed the last game with a concussion and he has been a big part of their offense all year. Notre Dame has a top 12 offense and defense in the country this season as they are averaging 38.3 points scored per game and only allowing 15.3 points per game. Clemson does have a very good defense themselves but Notre Dame has a very balanced offense between Hartman's passing game and Estime being one of the best RBs in the country. Notre Dame's offense is going to give this Clemson defense fits as good as they have been this year and the Clemson offense has struggled a lot themselves while the Notre Dame defense is much better and will be able to shut them down here.
