Tarleton State is coming into this game with a 2-2 record this season and they are not returning many of their players from last season. They did bring back 2 of their starters from last year though and they have not been playing poorly in their first few games this season. They are 2-2 but their 2 losses were both on the road and against much better teams in Virginia and Bradley. They destroyed North Texas at Dallas who is not a Division I school but they also have a nice road win against FIU, beating them by close to 20 points on the road. They are going up against an Austin Peay team that is also 2-2 this season but they were also awful last season and are returning less than 10% of their team as they are under a new head coach this season. They have not been good in their first 4 games though and they definitely need some more time with their new head coach and all the new players to really get into a rhythm as a team and start winning more games consistently. Their only 2 wins this season came at home against Life and Fisk who are both not Division I schools while their 2 losses came on the road against George Mason and UTEP, losing both games by 8 points or more. Now they at a neutral location here but Tarleton State has the much better team and they will win this game with ease. Tarleton State will cover the spread in this game.
