UC Irvine is coming into this game with a 4-1 record this season and they have some nice wins already. They opened their season with a loss on the road against San Jose State which they lost by 8 points, but they have won their last 4 straight games since then. They have a win at home against New Mexico State by 10+ points as well as a big road win against USC by 10 points and they are coming off of a 10+ point win against Pepperdine at a neutral location in their last game. UC Irvine has been tested already and they have passed every test since losing that 1st game as they have just been getting better and better in each game. They are going up against a Toledo team that is 3-1 this season but they have not been as good in their games. Their 2 wins at home to open the season came against Detroit and Louisiana while they also have a very slim 1 point win on the road against Wright State who has struggled a lot in their first few games. They are also coming off of a loss against New Mexico in their last game which was at a neutral location and this will easily be their toughest test of the year so far.
