Penn State is coming into this game with a 4-1 record this season and they are in the 1st year of a new head coach with not many returning players at all, but they have made some good moves in the transfer portal and have been playing well to start the season. They won their first 4 games of the season in dominant wins at home but now they are coming off of their 1st loss of the season in their last game against Texas A&M. They were beat by a much better Texas A&M team who is also ranked this year but they will be hungry to bounce back against this weaker opponent. They are going up against a Butler team that is 3-2 this season but they were also awful last year and not returning many players this season as well. They also started the season with 3 dominant wins at home against weaker teams but they have followed up with 2 straight losses in their only 2 games away from home. They lost by 20 points on the road against Michigan State who is ranked but also has 3 losses this year and they are coming off of a loss in their last game at a neutral location against FAU. They played much closer in that game but even FAU has not been as dominant in their games this season. Penn State has the better team and they are going to find a way to win this game.
