Texas A&M is coming into this game with a 5-1 record this season and they have a very good team this year as they are ranked and returning over 75% of their minutes played as well as their scoring from their good team last season. They still have a very good team though and they will be hungry to bounce back here with a win. They are going up against an Iowa State team that is 5-1 this season and has also been playing well recently, but they are not returning as many as their players this season and have not had as tough a schedule as Texas A&M either. Iowa State also opened their season with 5 straight wins but their first 4 wins all came at home and against much weaker schools as they beat Green Bay, Lindenwood, Idaho State, and Grambling in those. They did win their 1st game of this tournament at a neutral location, but they only beat VCU by 4 points and followed up with a loss to Virginia Tech by 9 in their last game. Texas A&M has been playing very well this season and against much better opponents, they are the better team here and will bounce back from their loss with a win.
