The Broncos are coming into this game with a 6-6 record this season and they were one of the hottest teams in the NFL, winning 5 straight games prior to their loss last week. They are coming off of a loss against the Texans 22-17 on the road and now they are playing their 2nd straight road game here. Russell Wilson was awful last week as he threw 3 interceptions against the Texans and his task is going to be much harder here in a 2nd straight road game as they are playing in a divisonal game against a desperate Chargers team. They are going up against a Chargers team that is 5-7 this season and has to be scrambling at this point in the season as they must now run the table to have a chance at making the playoffs with 7 losses already. They are going to have some confidence here as they are coming off of a win in their last game which snapped a 3 game losing streak, albeit a 6-0 win against the Patriots, but even so, their defense has been playing much better in their last 2 games, including that 20-10 loss against the Ravens. Their offense has been awful recently as they have not scored more than 10 points in each of their last 2 games, but they also played some very good defenses as the Ravens have one of the best defenses in the NFL while the Patriots have continuously held teams to low scores despite losing a lot of games this year. The Chargers offense is going to have a much better game against this Broncos defense and with the Chargers defense playing much better recently, they are going to win this game convincingly as they are now in desperation mode the rest of the season. The Chargers will cover the spread in this game.
