The Bengals are coming into this game with an 8-6 record this season and they have been playing very well in their recent games since losing Joe Burrow to injury. They have won their last 3 straight games after Jake Browning lost his 1st start in this offense, but that loss also came at home against the Steelers. They are going up against a Steelers team in Pittsburgh this time that is 7-7 this season and desperately needs to win this game to keep their playoff hopes alive while also hurting the Bengals. The Steelers have not been playing well recently as they have lost their last 3 straight games since that last win against the Bengals, but now they are going to have Mason Rudolph starting in this game which gives an element of surprise to this Steelers offense here. Mike Tomlin already shut this Bengals offense down a few weeks ago on the road with Browning running it and he will have something schemed up here at home to do the same considering how badly they need the win. The Steelers are also going to be hungry to bounce back after the way they have played in their last few games and their defense is going to have the edge here with no Chase in the lineup for the Bengals as they do not have a real star at any skill positions in their offense without him. The Bengals have also been awful within the AFC North this season as they have lost all 4 of their games played against division rivals and that is not going to change here in Pittsburgh against a Steelers team that needs the win and will be hungry to make a statement in this game after the last few weeks.
