The Steelers are coming into this game with an 8-7 record this season and they are coming off of a 34-11 win at home against the Bengals last week after losing 3 straight games prior. They responded very well to their losing streak in that win against the Bengals, but now they are in a very tough spot here. They are traveling across the country to play the Seahawks on the road and the Seahawks are just as desperate for a win as the Steelers are. Mason Rudolph played very well in their win against the Bengals but he has not played an NFL game in a long time and this is going to be a very different environment on the road in Seattle than playing at home in Pittsburgh. The Seahawks defense is also going to be more prepared for Rudolph in this game after seeing him in the Steelers offense last week. The Seahawks are 8-7 this season and they have been playing much better recently as they have won their last 2 straight games. They barely scraped by the Eagles in their win with Drew Lock at quarterback and they also pulled off a nice road win last week against the Titans with Geno Smith starting again. Geno Smith back in the lineup is a huge boost to this Seahawks offense and the Steelers defense will struggle to stop them as they have been allowing more points in their games recently. This is a bad spot for the Steelers on the road in Seattle. The Seahawks will cover the spread in this game.
