Marquette is coming into this game with an 11-3 record this season and they have been playing very well in their recent games. They have won 5 of their last 6 games, but all 5 of those wins came at home where they have been a much better team. They won their 1st road game of the season against Illinois earlier this year but they have actually lost their last 2 road games against Wisconsin and Providence. Their other loss came at a neutral location against Purdue but they have definitely struggled more away from home, playing in much closer games even when they win as well. They are 2-1 in the Big East and have won their last 2 games in the conference, but their only loss in the conference came in their only road game against Providence. They are going up against a Seton Hall team that is 9-5 this season but has been playing much better in their recent games and has some quality wins as well. They have won 4 of their last 5 games with their only loss in that span coming on the road against Xavier. They have some very good quality wins in their last 4 games though as they beat Missouri at a neutral location, beat UConn at home, and they are coming off of a road win against Providence in their last game. Now Seton Hall is coming back home for this conference game against a ranked Marquette team that they are going to get up for and they also won their last home game against UConn so that along with the win on the road against Providence will give them a lot of confidence in this game as they continue to improve. Seton Hall can pull off an upset win here at home but they will at least keep this game close in a loss as well. Seton Hall will cover the spread in this game.
