Pittsburgh is coming into this game with an 11-7 record this season and they have not been playing well in their recent games. They have lost 2 of their last 3 as well as 4 of their last 6 games and they are only 2-5 in the conference as they have been much worse against ACC opponents. They have actually won 3 of their 4 games on the road this season but they also have some weaker wins against Louisville and West Virginia as well as a loss to Syracuse. They did pull off a very good win on the road in their last game as they beat a ranked Duke team by 4 points, but that was a big win for them and they are due for a let down spot here on the road again. They are going up against a Georgia Tech team that is 9-9 this season and has not been great in their recent games. They have lost 6 of their last 7 games with their only win in that span coming on the road against Clemson and they have also struggled in the ACC this year as they are 2-5 in the conference. They are coming off of a 9 point loss in their last game at home against Virginia, but that loss also came right after their road win in double OT against Clemson so it was a bit of a let down for them. Now they are at home again and they are going to be hungry to bounce back after an awful start to the conference season.
