North Carolina is coming into this game with a 20-6 record this season and they are currently tied for 1st place in the conference at 12-3. They were a very dominant team in the ACC to start the conference season but recently they have not been playing as well. They have lost 3 of their last 6 games now and have been alternating between wins and losses over their last 7 games, coming off of a win in their last game. They beat Virginia Tech at home by 10+ points in their last game, but recently they have struggled more on the road. They have actually lost 2 of their last 3 road games and their 1 win in that span was just a 3 point win against Miami. They are going up against a Virginia team that is 20-7 this season and they are currently sitting right behind the leaders in the conference at 11-5 so this is a huge game for them if they want to have a chance at winning the regular season ACC. They have lost 2 of their last 3 games but they are also coming off of a 30+ point loss on the road in their last game against their rival Virginia Tech so they are going to be hungry to bounce back here after that loss and they must have a good response here after the way they played in their last game. Virginia has also been a much better team at home all season as they have won 14 of their 15 games there. Virginia is also a very good defensive team when playing at home and they have the defensive style that will give UNC some trouble in this road game. Virginia will cover the spread in this game.
