Houston is coming into this game with a 23-3 record this season and they are currently leading the Big 12 right now at 10-3. They have won their last 4 straight games and have been one of the more dominant teams in the country all season, but recently they have struggled more in their road games. They have 3 losses this season but all 3 of those losses came on the road and against conference opponents as well. They won their last game on the road by 5 points against a mediocre Cincinnati team but prior to that they had lost to Kansas on the road who is one of the better teams in the conference. They have also lost 3 of their last 6 games on the road in the conference with losses coming against the stronger teams in Kansas, Iowa State, and TCU. They are going up against a Baylor team that is 19-7 this season and has been one of the better teams in the conference this season at 8-5. They have won 2 of their last 3 as well as 5 of their last 7 games, but they are coming off of a 7 point loss on the road against BYU in their last game and will be hungry to bounce back here. Baylor is also just 2 games behind Houston for the lead of the Big 12 and a win here would really help keep their chances to win the conference during the regular season alive. Baylor has also been great at home this season as they have won 13 of their 14 games there and they are going to get up for this game against one of the highest ranked teams in the country so they can use this win as a statement.
