Cornell is coming into this game with a 20-5 record this season and they are currently sitting at the top of the conference at 9-2. They have been playing very well in the conference all season and they have won 3 of their last 4 games as well, but they are also coming off of a bad loss at home against Brown in their last game which was right after they pulled off a big win against Yale. They allowed themselves to drop a game at home in a let down spot which erased their 1 game lead in the conference and now they will be hungry to bounce back in this game, but they are also in a look ahead spot here as well. They are starting a road trip here to end the regular season and they have a huge game against Princeton on Saturday, right after this game on Friday, and Princeton is one of the teams tied for 1st in the conference with them so that game is going to have huge implications and there is no doubt they have 1 eye ahead looking to that game. They are going up against a Penn team that is 10-16 this season and has been awful in the conference at 2-9. They have been awful all season as they just went through an 8 game losing streak, but they have actually been much better in their last 2 games since snapping that streak. They snapped the losing streak with a 10+ point win on the road against Dartmouth and followed up with a loss in their last game, but only lost by 4 points on the road against Harvard. Penn has been much better in their last 2 games and they finish the season with the rest of their games being at home, they do not have the pressure that Cornell has on them right now and Cornell will fold in this look ahead spot as Penn gets up for this game against one of the best in the conference.
