South Florida is coming into this game with a 21-5 record this season and they are currently leading the conference at 14-1. They did not get off to a good start this season but they quickly figured things out and have been nothing but great since then. They have won their last 13 straight as well as 19 of their last 20 games and they are going to be hungry to keep that streak alive here since they can clinch the AAC regular season title all for themselves with a win in this game. They have had no problems playing on the road recently as they have won their last 6 straight road games and they are a team that has been down in many games but continues to fight back with a lot of confidence in themselves. Recently, they have been much better in their games though as they have been getting out to early leads and have not been looking back in those games. They are going up against a Charlotte team that is 17-10 this season and they are currently sitting in 4th place in the conference at 11-4. They were fighting for the number 1 seed at one point but recently they have been slipping up in their games. They have lost their last 2 straight games with a road loss against Memphis in that span, but they also have a much worse road loss against Tulsa in their last game as well. They will be hungry to bounce back here and will also be seeking revenge after blowing a huge lead against South Florida on the road earlier this season and losing that game by 3 points, but South Florida has also had a week off to prepare for this game and they are going to get up for it since they do have something to play for as well. South Florida is the better team here and they are going to fight tooth and nail to win this game as they continue to get no respect as a potential tournament team.
